History
1983: Thoreau Janitorial Services started providing professional
janitorial services to the retail industry in the Los Angeles
Area.
1991: Thoreau Janitorial Services incorporated and became
Thoreau Janitorial Services, Inc.
1991: Thoreau Janitorial Services transitioned to providing
nationwide service through their first nationwide client,
Wherehouse Music Stores.
1996: Thoreau Janitorial Services became a member of PRSM.
Since then, Thoreau Janitorial has been growing and expanding
their service offering to include janitorial, light maintenance
and repair, floor repairs, and emergency cleanup services
nationwide to premium retail store chains, commercial buildings,
restaurant chains, construction management companies, movie
and television studios.
Executives
Nicki Frank: President & CEO
Nicki joined Thoreau Services, Inc. in 1990 as a
marketing consultant becoming President and CEO in 1995. Nicki's background in developing three successful businesses
helps to position her as an effective and influential leader of
Thoreau Services, Inc. Her vision, commitment, and integrity
have enabled Thoreau Services, Inc. to become and remain an
industry leader. She was featured in the Los
Angeles Business Journal (August 2006) for her achievements
in creating three different woman owned business in the Los
Angeles Area in the past 30 years.
Peter Cormier: General Manager
Peter
joined Thoreau Janitorial Services in 2004 with a background
in management in operations in a publicly traded company.
Peter's excellent management skills in staff management and
public relations have played a major role in our growth.
